St. Helena Site and more

Posted by bernell on August 17, 2014

Several sites are in the process of being prepared in St. Helena, Tangipahoa and Washington parishes.

I'm also aware of permits for some East Feliciana units, but no sites, as yet.

The St. Helena Comstock Meeks HZ No. 1 well site on Martin Lane north of Hwy 38 and off of Hwy 441 just south of the Mississippi line is not permitted, yet, but the site is nearly finished.

Additional St. Helena activity includes Comstock applications for units south of the Meeks well. These units have been applied for in the Northeast Greensburg Field, but I'm not aware of any site work, yet.

Activity in Tangipahoa Parish and Washington Parish involves several Little Silver Creek Field unit sites.  This field includes the actively producing Blades 33H-1 well and the Verberne 5H unit with a rig headed its way to drill the -1 well.  We've shown pictures here of the Washington Parish site with its construction in progress located on Hwy 1051 in the Mt. Hermon community.  Another site on Hwy 38 appears to be in the process of starting up.

The separate Kent 41H unit is both permitted and the site is complete.

It definitely appears Louisiana activity is heating up nicely.

If you know of some more units/wells/sites being prepared for TMS drilling, please feel free to share.
