Friday Report 3-13-2015

TMS PRE-PRODUCTION UPDATE 3-13-2015

Note:  For the most up-to-date information on producing wells in Louisiana and Mississippi, links are provided at the bottom of this post.

But here is my best available information on wells either before production or in the early stages of production and for which little, if any, production information is available…listed by county/parish, west to east then north to south.

Wilkinson County:

Halcon Creek Cottage West 1H, H&P Flex 3 Rig #249 completed drilling. Creek Cottage is located on Whitestown Road a couple of miles south of Hwy 24. Ready to Fracture.

Halcon Rogers 1H, accessed from Hwy 24 west of Centreville about 5 miles.  Drilling operations are complete. Awaiting fracturing.

Goodrich CMR-Foster Creek 8H-1 and 2, accessed from Hwy 563 to Macedonia Road then to Helmer Road. Nabors Rig #624 spud -1 on 9-15 and spud -2 on 9-21. Both drills are finished.  These two wells are currently in the process of being fractured. (Goodrich was under a leasehold obligation to fracture this well.  Future fracturing operations by Goodrich are scheduled to begin in June.)

Sanchez Morris 2H, RAPAD Rig #31 spud October 13.  Accessed from the Pickneyville Road...Traveling west out of Woodville, turn north (right) just past the Old River water tank on to an otherwise private road. Drilling completed with a 6,450 foot lateral. Word is fracturing is completed on this well...awaiting flow back. 

Sanchez Macedonia – The last plans I heard were for 2 wells to be drilled here. Located on Macedonia Road north of Centreville, this site is accessed from the north off of Hwy 563, then down Macedonia Road about 10 miles to site on west side of Macedonia Road. Word is this site will be drilled after the Bloomer is finished.

Sanchez Bloomer – The Bloomer is located on the south side of Hwy 24, 18 miles west of the Hwy 24/61 crossing in Woodville and is near Ft. Adams on what some are referring to as the Rosenblatt site. Trinidad Rig #125 should have spud this past week.

Amite County:

Encana Ash 13H-1 and 13H-2, Located on the east side of Ash Road, accessed via Lower Centreville Road about 3 miles southeast of Centreville. Trinidad Rig #124 spud July 21.  The first 18 days of production for these wells was 10,766 and 7,922 barrels for -1 and -2, respectively.

Goodrich T. Lewis 7-38H-1 located from the same access road as the EnCana Lewis 7-18H-1 off of County Farm Road a mile or so north of the Lower Centreville Road, accessed off of the Greensburg Road, located about 6 miles south of Liberty.  Ensign Rig #753 reportedly spud on November 14. Drilling completed at 18,540' after a 35 day drill. Awaiting fracking for the 2nd half of 2015.

 
Encana Mathis 29-17H-1, located on the same pad as Mathis 29-32H-1 off of Bean Road west of Gillsburg in south Amite County.  Trinidad Rig #124 spud October 17. Completed a 9,169 foot lateral to a total depth of 21,730 foot. Fracturing operations on 26 stages completed.  Well is flowing back.

Encana Longleaf 29H-1 and -2, located off Tobias Lane off of Hwy 584 roughly 3 miles southeast of Liberty. Wells are in the early stages of flow back.  Rumors are #2 is doing very well.

EnCana Lawson 25-13H-1, located on the same pad as the Lawson 25H-1 in Downtown Gillsburg, MS in Southeast Amite County. Drilling completed at 22,075 foot.  Lateral length is estimated at over 10,000 foot. Fracking completed.

EnCana McIntosh 15H-1/Reese 16H-1.  Site located on Chance Road off of Ewell Road south of Hwy 48 a few miles east of Centreville, this double unit/ 4 well pad is having only 2 drilled at this time. Encana Reese 16H-1 was spud 12/9/2014 by the Trinidad Rig #125. McIntosh 15H-1 was reported as spud 12/11/2014. Drilling is completed and fracturing operations are underway.

Pike County: A permit has been approved for 1 Sanchez unit in Pike County.  Several unit applications by VirTex, Sanchez and Encana are pending.

 St. Helena Parish:

Comstock Meeks 56 HZ-1, located on Martin Lane north of Hwy 38 off of Hwy 441, just south of the Mississippi line and Encana Lawson 25H-1. Pad is finished.  Plans to drill are on hold.

St. Tammany: Experimental preliminary vertical well by Helis Oil and Gas, the EADS POITEVENT ETAL #1, has been permitted, but faces other legal challenges to full authority to drill.

Tangipahoa

Halcon Franklin PST Prop H-1, H&P rig # 623 spud November 1. Access to this site is from downtown Osyka, Mississippi on South Railroad. Drilling complete, production casing in place to 17,957 foot.  Awaiting fracturing.

Goodrich Kent 41H-1, Nabors X-17, located on Monroe Stevens Road, accessed via Hwy 440/1057 to Hwy 1058 to B Brown Road, then to Monroe Stevens Road. Spud November 5.  Drill completed with a 6,000 foot lateral.  Fracturing operations complete, plugs drilled out and flaring.

Goodrich Kinchen 58H-1, accessed from Hwy 1053 about 1 mile north of Kentwood off of Hwy 51. H&P Flex Rig 3 # 249 spud on December 6. Completed drilling to a depth of 18,365 foot. Awaiting fracturing.

Goodrich B Nez 43H -1 and -2, are located in two different units, Little Silver Creek Field, Sand Unit D is the unit for the B-Nez 43H-1 well and Little Silver Creek, Sand Unit N is the unit where the B-Nez 43H-2 will be drilled.  The drilling site is located on the south side of Hwy 38 east of Kentwood about 8 miles and nearly to the Washington Parish line.  The nose of the 43H-1 unit tilts northeasterly into Washington Parish. 

43H-1 was spud by Nabors X-17 on 12/17.  Drilling complete to 18,584 foot.  Awaiting fracking for the 2nd half of 2015.

43H-2 spud 1/3/2015. Production casing set to 18,315 foot for what appears to be a 6,000 foot lateral.  Awaiting fracking for the 2nd half of 2015.

Washington Parish:


Goodrich Painter Etal 5H-1
: Nabors Rig #624 spud January 11. Pad located on the east side of Louisiana Highway 450 about 4 miles south of Louisiana Hwy 38. Drilling completed to 17,223 foot.  Awaiting fracking for the 2nd half of 2015. 

Goodrich W Alford 10H-1: Officially the Little Silver Creek Sand Unit F, this site is located off Hwy 1056 in the Mt. Hermon community in northwest Washington Parish. Nabors Rig #624 spud February 23, 2014. Intermediate casing in place to 11,305 foot as of March 9, 2015.  Awaiting cement.

East Feliciana: Permits in process…

West Feliciana:

Halcon Walker- permitted, with no drilling plans at this time
